Casey Carlson
Casey is another one of our contestants with some time in the spotlight. But this one isn't famous for singing. Do you remember her sweet Kansas City audition where she sang "A thousand miles" by Vanessa Carlson? All sweet in her little dress? You'll get a completely different view of her on CampusGirlsUSA.com, where she has posed as a swimsuit model. You can own a piece of her in the Campus Girls 2009 "Girls of the big 10" calendar. Who needs Katrina? Casey is the real bikini girl of American Idol.

Danny Gokey
Danny is the first contestants to pull our heartstrings. Before his Kansas City "I heard it through the Grapevine" audition, he told America about the death of his wife Sophia just four weeks prior. Danny has founded the organization "Sophia'a Heart Foundation," a charity aimed at reaching out to children. He auditioned alongside his BFF Jamar Rogers, who also did well during Hollywood week. Or so we thought. Jamar got axed and Danny is BFFless, but we love him anyway...and his stylish glasses.
