Let's not get ahead of ourselves

Ok, we've heard a few rumors today from people who "know" Michael, that he is in top 12. IT ISN'T POSSIBLE FOR HIM TO BE IN THE TOP 12 YET.

Spoilers say Michael makes it into the Top 36, which will be announced Wednesday. After that, it's all up in the air, as the shows air live and America gets the vote.

Wednesday, Feb. 11: Top 36 semifinalists announced.

For three consecutive Tuesdays, Feb. 17, Feb. 24 and March 3, 12 different semifinalists will perform each night in the hopes of moving on to the Top 12. Each week during the LIVE results shows airing Wednesdays: Feb. 18, Feb. 25 and March 4, the three finalists with the highest number of America’s votes will secure coveted spots in the Top 12.

On Thursday, March 5, a “Wild Card” episode will feature the judges favorite remaining contestants. After each of the contestants perform, the judges will select the three final contestants who will round out the Top 12.

Those Top 12 finalists, with or without Michael, take the stage for the first time together Tuesday, March 10.
