Meet the competition - Part 2

As confirmed earlier, Michael is still in group one. So join us as we continue to handicap Tuesday's night's competition.

Anoop Desai
In any normal American Idol competition, we'd be waving foam fingers up for Anoop. This guy is just simply stellar. But this isn't any normal competition and we're sort of saving ourselves for someone, so we'll just say that he's definitely one to watch. Anoop attends University of North Carolina where he is a member of the a capella group UNC Clef Hangers. During his audition, he sang Boys II Men "Thank You," like someone else we know, showing very good taste.


Brent Keith Smith
Brent is no stranger to reality TV. This southern singer was a contestant on Season 2 of Nashville Star. He also sang the title track to the 2007 Dale Earnhart movie "Dale" with other artists like Brooks and Dunn and Lynyrd Skynyrd. And he has his very own dot com. Like Anne Marie, we don't understand why Idol producers take so many chances on people who already had one. We're also confused as to why people feel the need to use both their first and middle name. Regardless, he's going to be performing live next Tuesday.
